Wells Next to the Sea

Yesterday we went on a family day trip to Wells Next to the Sea, it took us two hours to get there but it was worth it. It is such a lovely and peaceful place and it is a working harbor so there is always something going on.

We went for a walk into the town and saw lots of people crab fishing, I didn't really want to try it as you had to touch the crabs to release them back into the water. Then we walked up to the beach and went for a paddle, luckily it was a lovely day so the sea and the sand were warm. However, I did manage to drop my hand bag into the sea, thankfully I grabbed it before anything inside got wet.

Whilst sat at the sea side cafe having our ice cream I got followed by a duck, I really don't like ducks, geese and swans, just birds in general, so she must have sensed my fear. Although, the ice cream was very nice and the perfect way to end the day.

When I got home I realised I had caught the sun and I now have sun glasses marks on my face which is fantastic.

Have you ever been to wells next to the sea?
